Discount Types

To apply a discount, click “SC/PWD/NAD/MANUAL DISCOUNT” in the cart section. Discount types are only added on the Admin portal and will apply to the whole transaction.

Click button after selecting a discount to apply the discount;

While button if you want to reset the discount or close the “SC/PWD/NAD/MANUAL DISCOUNT” section.

Here are the available types of discounts you can choose from:

1. Manual Discount

Enter the number of individuals eligible for the discount and specify the amount. Applying this discount will only allow a fixed amount.

1. Senior Citizen & PWD Discount

Select "Senior Citizen" or "PWD". Indicate the number of individuals for the discount, and input the customer's ID and name of the customer.

1. National Athlete

This discount operates similarly to the process outlined above. Select "National Athlete". Specify the number of individuals for the discount, and provide the athlete's ID and name.

1. Zero-rated

Zero-rated discounts—applicable to diplomats, will apply automatically in the cart section once selected. "Z" is displayed next to the product price.

1. Customizable Discounts

You may add your customizable discounts on the Admin portal. On this part, we added an employee discount.

Select "Employee Discount" or "Manager Discount". Enter the number of eligible individuals for the discount. The discounted price is preset on the Admin side, so selecting this type of discount will apply the price automatically in the cart section.

In addition, you may also add the discountable and non-discountable items on the discount types and set an expiration date and time which will be useful if you have promotional discounts.

Moreover, Clibase can also calculate discounts based on the total number of customers. Just input the number of customers in the box then apply the discount.

Sample scenario: If there is one (1) senior citizen in a group of six (6) people, you must input the total number of customers before selecting and applying the senior citizen discount.
